You may recognise TV presenter Tyra Stowers by her vibrant and bubbly nature on screen travelling across Victoria for news and weather... 

Tyra is currently the weekend weather presenter at 7 News Melbourne.

Away from the camera, Tyra is passionate about health, wellness, fashion - and of course animals as an ambassador at the Lort Smith... 

Born in Perth, Tyra moved to Dubai for 10 years before moving back to Australia to the Sunshine Coast in her final years of school.  

Tyra Studied Journalism and Public Relations at The Queensland University of Technology, before a seamless transition from multiple internships into her role as 9News Queensland's assistant chief of staff.

In the same year, she made the move to 9News Gold Coast as a reporter and producer, before back up weather presenter... 

Tyra is also an Ambassador for Lort Smith Animal Hospital.        

Tyra finds joy in amplifying voices, keeping the community informed and connecting with locals.
