Sofia Hurley is a rising midfield star whose composure, ball use, and endurance have made her one of the most exciting young talents in the AFLW. Drafted from the Sandringham Dragons and South Melbourne Districts, she was a standout in the Vic Metro program and a member of the AFLW U18 National Academy.

Hurley’s breakout came in 2023 when she earned an AFLW Rising Star nomination in Round 8. She followed that up with a stellar 2024 season, winning the Sydney Swans AFLW Club Champion award at just 20 years old.
