Geelong’s first father/daughter selection in the clubs history, Millie has grown up following the Cats after her father, Paul, played with the club in the 90’s. Dominant in her top age season for the Murray Bushrangers, Geelong were excited to have Millie join the club officially after getting her involved in various programs over the past few years.
Known for her ability to read the play in defence, Millie can play not only as a key defender but also rebound from the back line, penetrating her team into attack. In her first season, Millie slotted straight into the young Cats team, many of whom she has played a lot of footy against or with throughout her junior club.
In what was a pretty tough year for the Cats in 2021, Millie contribution was limited due to a persistent hamstring injury. At the conclusion of the season Millie decided to sit out Season 6 at the start of 2022 due to personal reasons, before requesting a trade to the Western Bulldogs for Season 7. Millie used Season 7 as a building block to get her body right for the 2023 Season and beyond. Despite struggling with injury again, Millie played 4 games in 2023.
Millie works at the club in the Membership Department.
