Jude Bolton is a former AFL player for the Sydney Swans, turned broadcaster who has made a successful transition into media following his 15-year career in the Australian Football League. Drafted at Pick 8 in the 1998 National Draft, Jude Bolton made his AFL debut in Round 12, 1999. Over the course of a magnificent career which spanned 325 games in fifteen seasons, he became not only one of the greatest players ever to wear the Red and White, but the consummate team man with infectious enthusiasm and a genuine love of the football club and everyone in it – as evidenced by the fact that he is a three time winner of the Swans Best Clubman award, in 2005, 2006 and 2013. Jude was an integral member of the 2005 Premiership team, and one of only four members of that history-making side also to play in the 2012 Grand Final victory. Jude announced his retirement in August 2013 and played his last game for the red and white in the Preliminary Final against Fremantle. He will forever be revered as a champion of the Sydney Swans football club, both on and off the field. Jude Bolton was inducted into the Swans Hall of Fame in 2017.
