Jasmyn Smith is a dynamic midfielder known for her elite aerobic capacity, fearless ball attack, and natural leadership. Originally drafted by the Gold Coast SUNS, Smith made her AFLW debut at just 18 and quickly became a fan favourite for her relentless work rate and composure under pressure. In 2024, she joined the Western Bulldogs via trade and played every game in her debut season at the Kennel.

Raised on the Gold Coast, Smith’s sporting pedigree runs deep- her mother is a Commonwealth Games badminton medallist, and her father played in the Geelong Football League and competed professionally in triathlon. Jasmyn’s junior career included premierships with Broadbeach, captaincy honours, and standout performances for Bond University in the QAFLW. She also co-captained Queensland’s U18 state team and was named in the SUNS Academy Team of the Year.

Off the field, Smith is a rising media personality and model, hosting segments on Network 10’s Shake Takes and building a strong social media presence. Her viral fan video in 2024 catapulted her into the spotlight, making her one of the most recognisable faces in AFLW.
