Drafted from the Sandringham Dragons and Vic Metro, Bacon impressed recruiters with her athleticism and versatility—playing across half-back, wing, and inside midfield during her top-age season.

In her debut AFLW year, Bacon featured in every game after missing Round 1 due to illness, averaging 7.5 tackles per match in the Coates Talent League and showcasing her ability to break lines and set up scoring chains. Her aggressive contest work and repeat efforts earned praise from coaches and fans alike, and she’s quickly become a fixture in Richmond’s defensive rotations.

Off the field, Bacon has a rich sporting background, having competed in basketball, netball, athletics, and cross-country before focusing on footy in 2022. She also spent part of her childhood in Vancouver, adding a global perspective to her grounded personality and leadership potential.
