Hannah Priest is the heart and soul of St Kilda’s AFLW side—a composed defender and midfield leader whose consistency, courage, and voice have shaped the club’s identity since its inaugural season. Originally drafted from Norwood in the SANFLW, Priest made her AFLW debut in 2020 and quickly rose to become co-captain in 2021, then sole captain from 2022 onward.
She became the first AFLW Saint to reach 50 games in 2023, a milestone that reflects her durability and influence. Known for her intercept marking, calm decision-making, and ability to rally teammates under pressure, Priest has finished top three in the club’s Best & Fairest and earned multiple leadership and club awards, including the AVJennings Sainter of the Year and AFLW Crest Award.
