Gabby Seymour is a versatile tall utility whose elite mindset, consistency, and leadership have made her a pillar of Richmond’s AFLW program since its inception. Originally signed as a cross-code rookie from volleyball in 2019, Seymour quickly transitioned into a key defensive and ruck role, playing 57 of a possible 59 games by the end of 2023.

Known for her match-saving smothers, aerial presence, and relentless work ethic, Seymour has finished top three in Richmond’s Best & Fairest on three separate occasions (2020, 2022, Season 7). In 2023, she was named vice-captain, reflecting her influence both on and off the field.

Beyond footy, Seymour is a vocal advocate for women in sport and has gained industry-wide respect for her leadership and community engagement.
