Darcy's composure and ball use sets her apart from the opposition. A terrific leader who successfully led the Vic Country Team in the Youth Girls competition on the Gold Coast in 2017, Darcy knows when to step up in a game at critical moments and get the best out of her teammates around her.
Living in Traralgon, Darcy played for the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup Competition early in 2017, before playing VFLW for Cranbourne where she enjoyed a great season. At the conclusion of the season, Darcy was touted as being amongst the top 3 picks in Victoria which was testament to the year she had. However at the AFLW Draft, Darcy slipped down a pick leading to Collingwood to swoop on her with their second pick.
In what was an extremely frustrating year for Darcy as injury unfortunately cut her season short before it even began. Showing her perseverance and dedication, Darcy again had a great pre-season resulting in her playing the last three games of the season where she made an immediate impact up forward.
At the conclusion of the 2019 season, Darcy accepted a two year offer to join St Kilda for the clubs inaugural season in 2020. Darcy is really enjoying her time at the Saints where she has carved out a role as a small forward.
