Daisy D’Arcy is a dynamic, hard-running defender with elite endurance and a fearless approach to contested play. Originally from Townsville, she’s a multi-sport prodigy who represented Queensland in rugby sevens, cricket, and soccer before choosing AFLW for its blend of physicality and skill.
Since debuting as the youngest player in AFLW history, D’Arcy has racked up over 40 games, earned two SUNS Players’ Player awards, and was named to the All-Australian squad in 2023. Her versatility allows her to rotate through midfield and even hit the scoreboard, making her a key piece in the Suns’ rebuild.
In 2024, she finished runner-up in the Club Champion count and was named to the 22Under22 team for the second time. Unfortunately, she’ll miss the 2025 season due to an ACL injury but remains contracted until the end of 2026.
