He combines a relentless work ethic with sharp goal sense, making him a dangerous presence around the ball and a valuable link between midfield and attack.

A product of the Dandenong Stingrays, Hynes delivered a consistent and high-impact top-age season in the Coates Talent League. He finished second in both the Morrish Medal and the Stingrays’ Best & Fairest, averaging 24 disposals and kicking 23 goals across the year. His ability to win the ball, break lines, and hit the scoreboard highlights his versatility and competitiveness.

Hynes was selected by the Bulldogs with Pick 20 in the 2024 AFL National Draft, bringing with him a strong junior résumé and a reputation for toughness and flair. He made his senior debut in Round 5 of the 2025 season at Gather Round, showcasing his trademark intensity and burst from stoppage. His combination of pace, power, and forward craft position him as an exciting long-term prospect in the Bulldogs’ midfield-forward rotation.
