A silky player with ball in hand that is incredibly versatile, 2018 was the first season whereby Casey really took her footy seriously. An outstanding Netballer, Casey landed down at the Casey Demons in the VFLW to originally play with her friends. However after a great start to the 2018 season, a number of AFLW clubs started to reach for their files to see where Casey had come from as they showed great interest in her improvement.
As the season unfolded, Casey continued to string good performances together and was set to nominate for the Draft before the announcement that Daisy Pearce was expecting twins which then allowed Melbourne to pre-list her to replace Daisy.
Whilst Casey unfortunately didn’t break into the team in 2019, she made huge progress in her game and has since become a regular in the senior line up throughout 2020 & 2021.
