Joining the Peel Thunder program in 2021 after playing senior Football for the Harvey Bulls in 2020, Brady made an instant impact and continued to build his form over the course of the season to play some Senior WAFL Football for Peel in the last few weeks of the season, before representing Western Australia against South Australia.
Used in a variety of positions throughout the season, Brady showed his ability through the midfield, half forward, and half back. Receiving significant interest from a number of AFL Clubs in the lead up to the Draft, Brady achieved a lifelong dream when West Coast selected in him at pick 31.
Having played senior Football for both Harvey and Peel Thunder, Brady had a great understanding of what was required to play against Men however no doubt knowing it was going to go to an entire new level in the AFL. Using that experience to his benefit, Brady broke into the Eagles lineup for the first game of the season and quickly became accustomed to the level featuring in a total of 15 games in his debut season winning the Clubs Best First Year Player Award. Brady was able to continue his form in his second season, playing 15 games despite being impacted by an hamstring injury. Brady is looking forward to improve with the young group at West Coast.
