Bella Eddey is a sharp, creative forward whose speed, decision-making, and goal sense have made her a consistent threat inside 50 since her debut in 2021. Originally drafted from the Sandringham Dragons, Eddey quickly adapted to AFLW level, kicking a goal in her first game and becoming a fixture in North Melbourne’s attacking structure.
By 2024, she had played over 60 AFLW games, contributed 27 goals, and played a key role in North Melbourne’s first AFLW premiership. Her standout performances include a 20-disposal, 2-goal game in wet conditions against Carlton and a clutch finals showing against Adelaide, where she booted two crucial majors.
Off the field, Eddey is a passionate advocate for health awareness, having openly shared her journey managing Crohn’s disease. She’s also a finalist for the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award, recognised for her work with the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Good Friday Appeal.
