Anneli Maley is an Australian professional basketball athlete known for her work ethic and rebounding, playing for the Australian 3x3 team, and also playing for the Perth Lynx in the WNBL and the Perth Redbacks in NBL1 West. She had a breakout college career with the Oregon Ducks, won the 2022 WNBL MVP, made her WNBA debut with the Chicago Sky. Maley is 6 foot 1inch tall and plays forward, with energy and hustle are hallmarks of Maley’s game which has been on show right around the world.
She was awarded the coveted WNBL MVP award 2022 with the Bendigo Spirit and her most recent achievement being winning gold at the 2025 3x3 FIBA Aisia Cup, playing on the same team as her fiancé Marena Whittle. She is an Australian multi world championship medallist, winning bronze at the FIBA U19 World Championship in 2015 and gold in the FIBA U18 Championship in 2014. As Perth Lynx, captain she also led her team to the 2023-24 WNBL Grand Final series.
Anneli is also well known off the court with her work in broadcast and media as Fox Sports presenter for the NBL, regular radio presenter on Triple J, as well as her own popular podcast called Under the Surface with Anneli Maley.
