Wayne Schwass delivered the 55th Annual Barton Pope Lecture at Adelaide Oval.
Earlier this week, Wayne Schwass delivered the 55th Annual Barton Pope Lecture at Adelaide Oval.

Addressing both members of the general public and a wide range of professionals, Wayne shared his experiences, knowledge and understanding of the different stages of his mental illness and discussed how he worked to overcome its debilitating effects.

In an Instagram post following the presentation Wayne wrote “It's incredibly humbling to have the opportunity to share your experiences with mental illness in the hope it connects with your audience & more specifically it gives hope to someone in the audience that you can get healthy again & you can enjoy all that life has to offer. It’s important to have these conversations all the time, any time, any day, any moment because your mental health matters. Our mental health is just as important as our physical health”
The Block is Back
Jan 10, 2016
The Block is back and bigger than ever- if that was even possible! The 12th season of the hit reality program debuted on the Nine Network on August 21st and has started with a bang.

Host Scott Cam has returned for his sixth consecutive series, this time leading a diverse bunch of contestants as they tackle an old soap factory in Port Melbourne. With a building that seems better suited to demolition than renovation, drama and disaster seemed inevitable for this year’s hopefuls.

Shaynna, who began her Block journey in 2012, once again returns as a judge to keep the contestants on their toes with her brutally honest approach to competitor feedback.
Dan Reilly too can be seen on the work site, continuing his signature ‘fore-boy’ role alongside Keith.
To avoid missing all the action from what is shaping up to be their biggest project yet, don’t forget to tune in to the Nine Network Sun-Weds from 7 pm.
